It has been a busy year for actress Kavya Madhavan, who was working in movies back-to-back. Now, the actress is looking forward to a well-deserved break.
A source close to the actress says that Kavya is planning to take a one-month holiday. "Kavya will be visiting her brother, who is in Australia, along with her parents in December. Though last year they had planned a holiday in Australia, it didn't happen. So this year, she badly wants this break," says the source. For the very reason, the actress has not committed any new projects. "She is in discussions for three movies. However, she will sign on these projects only in January," says the source.
The actress, who is currently shooting in Kochi for the Mohanlal-starrer Lokpal, has yet another movie lined up for release — Bavuttiyude Namattil.
The Eega star Nani picked up a painting by Kamal Kamaraju that depicts Kamal Haasan in his Kshatriya Putrudu avatar.
Actor Kamal Kamaraju's artistic ability as a painter is well known. While he started off with a series of painting titled My Name is Minnu that revolved around the girl child, the actor is now veering towards filmi subjects even on canvas. Kamal's latest line is all about colourful cinema posters and the theme appealed so much to actor Nani that he got one custom made for his home theatre.
Speaking to Hyderabad Times, curator Kali Sudheer says, "Six months ago, Nani met Kamal at a function and while they were conversing casually, Nani asked him if he could come up with a painting for his home theatre. And knowing that Nani is a big fan of veteran actor Kamal Haasan and would often rave about the movie Kshatriya Putrudu, Kamal Kamaraju decided to paint Nani's matinee idol in his fave avatar."
While Nani and his wife Anju went gung ho over the painting, Kamal reveals that many socialites have approached him with similar requests. We hear that a prominent lady in the city has asked Kamal to do a life-size painting of Nagarjuna from the film Manmadhudu.

Director Gopichand Malineni (Don Seenu, Bodyguard fame) is no different.
Brahmi plays a full length role in the film Balupu alongside Raviteja and the shooting of his combination scenes with lead pair is going on currently. "Super fun day at work sooo fantastic to work with Bramhanandam Garu... He is seriously funny! Learning so much!!," shared the beauty.

Madonna, who strips bare to promote her new perfume, looks several decades younger than her 54 years in the arresting ad to promote her Truth or Dare by Madonna Naked scent.
The Queen of Pop has spent much of the year flashing the flesh at her live shows, and she's gone the whole hog on this occasion.
Only this time, she's arguably had the years turned back by a generous helping of the airbrush.
Striking a seductive pose with her hands behind her head, Madonna's blushes are spared by the bust-concealment of her new perfume's logo, the Sun reported.
The singer has been heavily criticised for refusing to gracefully accept middle age, choosing instead to defy her years onstage by donning youthful attire like a cheerleader's outfit.
However, a recent shot of her in New York showed Madonna looking every bit her age.
She wore a cosy gorilla hat for her low-key visit but her au naturel face appeared wrinkled.

| << Shah Rukh trashes reports of patch up with Salman Khan | | | Kristen Stewart: I would love to work with Hrithik Roshan >> |
Actor Shah Rukh Khan has dismissed reports of a "patch up" between him and the 'Dabangg' star Salman Khan.
"Bachpan se poochte aa rahe ho yeh sawal...ab toh bade ho jaoo (Please grow up...you people have always been asking this question)," Shah Rukh retorted when asked whether the acrimony between him and Salman has finally come to end. He was addressing reporters at a press conference.
Speculations over the Khans burying their hatchets gained momentum after Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir attended the premiere of late filmmaker Yash Chopra's film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and the party hosted thereafter.
Soon after the premiere, mega-star Amitabh Bachchan had tweeted "Danced my shoes off with all the youngsters...an amazing evening... spending time with Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh, Katrina and Anushka".
When asked about Big B's tweet, Shah Rukh said, "If Amitji has tweeted it then you all ask him when you meet him in a press conference. There is no patch up or XYZ. Even I read about it in your news papers. Whatever is written in your newspaper please don't believe into it."
A heated argument between Shah Rukh and Salman at the birthday bash of the latter's ex Katrina Kaif in 2008 created a rift between the two stars.
There are several unconfirmed theories floating around and nobody knows what exactly happened at that party. The incident left a scar and the split only seemed to have widen as the Khans are in no mood to call a truce.
Shah Rukh is ecstatic with the reception of his recent release romantic drama film 'Jab Tak Hain Jaan'.
According to estimates, the film grossed Rs 100 crore worldwide. "I am happy that the film has earned Rs 100 crore worldwide. It is wonderful that the film is doing great. There were some issues in between despite that the film has worked. This film is very special to Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and me," Shah Rukh said.

What's common between Mamm-ootty's Face-2-Face, Mohanlal's Karmayodha and Prithviraj-Jayasurya starrer Mumbai Police? All the three upcoming films will see the actors donning the cop's uniform. However, the trend is not restricted to Mollywood. Kollywood and Bollywood stars too play cops in some of their latest outing. TOI probes...
Face-2-Face
In this investigative thriller by V M Vinu, Mammootty plays a police officer who is always under suspension for his impulsive actions. For the same reason, the actor is in plain clothes for most part of the film. He has played cop previously in Daddy Cool and Mumbai March 12 as well. However, hopes are high on Face-2-Face, which will reportedly have one of Mammootty's most memorable performances.
Karmayodha
Major Ravi's Karmayodha will see Mohanlal playing an investigation officer in search of a missing girl, which is somewhat similar to the character he played in Grandmaster. Mohanlal has played an army officer in Major Ravi's previous flicks —Keerthichakra, Kurukshetra and Kandahar.
Mumbai Police
Prithviraj and Jayasurya will be donning the uniform, along with Rahman, in Rosshan Andrrews' next, Mumbai Police. "The three actors will have equally important roles in the film which will start rolling early next year," says the director. Prithviraj has already proved his mettle as a cop in Johny Antony's Masters, while Jayasurya took on the role in Robinhood.
Apart from these M-Town stars, Kollywood star Vijay and Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan too play cops in their latest outings.
