Kokila Sadhu fails to impress after 'Anatharu' that he directed in the last year. The maturity in Prajwal Devaj is still not ripe enough to counter two heroines and emotional circumstances. This is ala 'Huliya Halina Mevu' of Annavru starring Jayaprada and Jayachitra. Even the heroines in that cinema were called as 'Ganga and Thunga'. Jayachitra dies in that cinema in the end Jayaprada becomes the partner to Annavru. Here in 'Gange Baare Thunge Baare' there is no meaning to Thunge Baare after you see the film you will come to know. Gange Baare for hero is OK because he is interested in her not in Thunge. Thunge for him is unwanted unexpected ridiculous and boring factor. Then how come the title holds good Saadhu Avare! In the end of the film there is a caption on the screen 'Gange Bandhalu Thunge Hogalilla'. Even this from the perspective of the hero Prajwal is not correct. It is the protagonist who does not go in the mind of Thunga not the vice versa. With so many loopholes and many more illogical circumstances Kokila Sadhu churned out this film rather unconvincingly. An electrical engineer Harsha (Prajwal) comes to the affluent family where he meets two live wires. He is a very trusted friend son a youngster who is up to change the whole mansion electric wiring with his gang. It is in this house the two cantankerous Gange and Thunge give him short circuit effect very often. But Harsha is intelligent enough. He shows his exemplary nature from emotional fittings in the house. That actually leads him to a comfortable standing in the house. As expected one of the two live wires Ganga and Harsha fall in love. This is not tolerated by Thunga. From the young age she has been taking away what Ganga has. In the issue of love also Thunga barges on. When she knows her elders sister Ganga is in deep love with Harsha a dangerous decision of Thunga puts Harsha in a tight spot. At this time Harsha faces insult for no mistake. On knowing this Ganga also does not trust Harsha. So clear the bad image painted on him by Thunga he comes back to the same house with Thunga this time. How he clears the doubt and how Thunga reaches the maturity in thinking Prajwal is good in romantic situations. The hairstyle for this youngster is what coming in the middle of acting. Action portions he has handled with cool but he had to imbibe some roughness from his father. A cool butter scotch ice cream caught in complicated situations is the situation for Prajwal he is not able to handle and deliver. Sunaina is the best. She looks beautiful emoted well and treat to watch in romantic moments on screen. Above all she has a good physical structure. Gayathri has pushed the right histrionics required for the role. Bullet Prakash in the comedy department is commendable. He has done what Sadhu Kokila does as a comedian. Ramesh Bhat, Bhavya, Srinath, Thulasi are convincing. Sadhu has given three lovely tunes among the five songs. In the first song you will not be able to trace the lyrics. Shekar Chandra beginning of photography is not up to the mark but in the later reels he is too good.This is an average entertainer. Nothing earth shaking.
