Story - Siva Manasula Sakthi

The movie revolves around Siva (Jeeva) and Sakthi (Anuya) who first met onboard a train. Eager to impress each other the two weave tall stories about themselves with Siva claiming to be an army officer and Sakthi pretending to be an airhostess. It is soon revealed that Sakthi is actually a high profile Radio Jockey and Shiva is a lowly paid courier boy. Despite the chalk and cheese difference, there are sparks of love between the two. But does this love fructify?

Siva Manusale Sakthi revolves around Siva (Jeeva) and Sakthi (Anuya) who first meet onboard a train and spin stories about themselves in order to impress each other. It soon turns out that Sakthi is actually a high profile Radio Jockey and Siva is a lowly paid courier boy. Despite the chalk and cheese difference, the two fall in love and get united in the end after crossing the usual filmy roadblocks.

Siva manusale Sakthi is the usual candy floss romance flick that’s been over hyped. While the first half is pretty enjoyable, things go downhill after the break. To their credit, Jeeva and newcomer Anuya fit their roles and have given a decent performance. Jeeva in particular exudes energy and enthusiasm and his body language is refreshing. Santhanam and Urvasi provide some comic relief. While there’s nothing truly special about the movie, it does promise some decent time pass entertainment.
