Contrary to the rumours of John Mayer planning to propose marriage to Jennifer Aniston, the two have split up. The couple had got together in April last year and then split up to only get back together this year.

A UK news website reports that the singer is said to have told Jennifer that their relationship was over when she returned to her home in the US from Britain. Jen had visited Britain to promote her film Marley and Me.

After her much-publicised spilt with her husband of over four years, Brad Pitt, the actress has not clicked with any of the men she dated. Let’s hope her work takes her out of her disappointments in relationships.
