No Rocket Science: Kalam in a movie

Ex-Prez Abdul Kalam will debut in film titled I Am Kalam to encourage youth to live their dreams

India’s former first citizen and a pioneer in rocket sciences is now gearing up to take an entertaining challenge.

Ex-President APJ Abdul Kalam will debut in a film very soon. Kalam will be playing himself where he will be seen encouraging the youth to keep dreaming and talk how dreams can turn into reality, which he has done in the past through his book and inspiring speeches.

The film titled ‘I am Kalam’, will be directed by Madhav Panda and is a joint Indo-French production assisted by UNICEF. The epitome of the film is how a young boy is inspired by Kalam’s speech.

Apparently Abdul Kalam agreed to do the film on two conditions; one that he wouldn’t charge remuneration and the other that he would not put on any make up.
