Tamil Film 'Thambi Vettotthi Sundaram' which is all set to reach the theatres is grabing the attention of Tollywood Actors. The chemistry between Tamil and Telugu industry is as favourable as ever. Many Tamil films are being remade in Telugu and vice versa. Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu is said to be on the latest hot list of imports.

Moreover Vamsam starring Arulnidhi that deals with the strife between two villages that has a strong local flavour too is considered for a remake. 

However another upcoming Tamil film that is gearing up for release has attracted the attention of Tollywood actors. It is none other than Karan’s Thambi Vettotthi Sundaram, directed by 'Vadivudayan'. The story of the film is said to be based on the real life incident, that happened in the Kanyakumari district. Pawan Kalyan is trying to secure the remake rights of the movie. But the Tamil version is seems to be facing problems both at the public as well as filmi front. It has been known that the Film has been awarded with an 'A' Certificate and the localites of the Kanyakumari District are demanding to watch the movie before it get releases. As it stands the film’s producer has decided to dub and release the film in Telugu.
